Archives

An Archive represents a set of related backups (a backup sequence) of a single resource stored in the same location, such as a full backup and subsequent incremental backups. A resource can have multiple backup archives associated with it, each corresponding to a separate backup policy applied. A resource protected by a policy can have several associated archives when some of its archives are scheduled for deletion.
