Prerequisites

Afi Kubernetes Backup consists of a SaaS cloud management platform and backup agents that run in Kubernetes clusters protected by Afi. To protect your clusters with Afi, create an account in the Afi portal and then install the backup agent in each of your clusters.

Backup agents depend on the cloud platform for all operations so please make sure that your firewall allows connections to *.afi.ai:443.

The Afi backup agent is distributed as a Helm chart. Make sure that you have Helm installed and that you can access your cluster with kubectl.
