Organizations¶
An organization is a high-level container for other organizations and tenants (for example, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace domain, Kubernetes cluster). Organizations are organized hierarchically. Every organization in the hierarchy may have tenants with resources inside.
In a most common case, an organization will only have a single child tenant, but it is also possible that an organization has several child tenants or even a mix of child tenants and child organizations, which in turn can have nested sub-organizations (departments) inside.
A typical example of an Afi organization with child organizations is a partner organizations that manages a number of client organizations.
